Shipping Policy Announcement: June 4, 2014

Dear Friends in Health,

During the past several months, we have been encountering an increasing number of issues related to our international shipments of books and wellness products. Our observations coincide with customers’ feedback, which include the following concerns and dissatisfaction:

•    International shipping charges continue to increase – in some cases dramatically so due to new or escalating (fuel) surcharges.

•    Shipping time for a package to arrive at an international destination continues to increase (especially Europe, Asia, Mexico and South America) – now ranging from 3 to 12+ weeks, which is understandably unacceptable to many of our customers.

•    Customs policies in several countries have become increasingly strict or questionable in nature – packages are often held for extended periods of time (sometimes weeks); some packages get ‘stuck’ in customs for no apparent reason and are never released; still others are “lost” according to customs reports.

Because of the serious nature of these issues – which are being experienced regardless of the shipping method used – we have given this concerning situation deep and thoughtful consideration before coming to the following decision:

This decision was not an easy one for us to make. But since the vast majority of the problems being experienced with international shipping services and customs policies are beyond our jurisdiction and control, we can no longer continue to support such services that too often result in understandable frustration and disappointment for our valued customers.

However, the following alternatives are readily available:

•    e-Books will continue to be available internationally through our Ener-Chi Wellness Center website, since these do not require physical shipping.

•    Andreas’ printed (soft cover) books will still be available to international customers through your country’s Amazon website. Since Amazon has such a massive global distribution system already well established, they are much better equipped to deal with issues of the nature that we have been encountering.

•    The foreign language editions of Andreas’ books that are shown on our website will still be available for shipment to addresses in the USA and Canada.

•    There are an increasing number of publishers around the world that are translating and publishing Andreas’ books in many different languages. Within the next few weeks, we will be providing a list of these international publishers on the Ener-Chi Wellness Center website, along with their contact information, so you can order foreign language editions directly from them.
